Portfolios Manager-Accounts Receivable Management

Location: Connect Breck, Breckenridge

Position Type: Full-time Exempt

Compensation: $65,520 - $78,520 (DOE)

Schedule: Onsite Monday-Friday

As the?Portfolios Manager?on our Accounts Receivable Management team, you will serve as the strategic leader for our Notes Receivable portfolio, ensuring the financial well-being of our community and protecting the Owner experience. You will guide a dedicated team, manage recovery efforts with empathy, and resolve complex owner inquiries, turning potential challenges into opportunities for trust and loyalty. Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, schedule, and develop all Account Management staff (Lead, Account Managers, and Admin).
  • Provide daily coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster a positive work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and establish improvement goals for team members.
  • Delegate tasks and projects effectively to ensure productivity and accountability.
  • Process payroll for all direct reports.
  • Operational Management & Workflow
  • Co-lead daily team meetings to prioritize workflow and provide guidance.
  • Manage delinquency communication campaigns, track performance metrics, and adjust strategies for improvement.
  • Perform daily audits of Notes Receivable and HOA Accounts Receivable portfolios to ensure accuracy.
  • Review delinquent accounts to determine next steps, including decisions on accounts 60-90 days past due.
  • Oversee HOA Deed Recovery projects and process returned deeds.
  • Account Management & Resolution
  • Handle escalated disputes and complex owner issues, providing expert support to the team.
  • Communicate with owners via phone, email, and mail regarding their account status, balances, and payoff amounts.
  • Ensure all owner interactions are documented clearly and accurately in the tracking system.
  • Manage resale matters, Trade-in/Transfer projects, and support the Sales department.
  • Process Improvement & Strategy
  • Analyze recovery trends and recommend procedural improvements to the Director.
  • Partner with leadership to implement new processes, maintain compliance, and drive departmental results.

Requirements

  • Certificate from an accredited college or technical school (minimum one-year program).
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related field (e.g., accounts receivable, team leadership, financial services).
  • Proven experience in staff training, performance management, and team development.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Strong mathematical skills with the ability to calculate figures, discounts, and percentages.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work in-person in a pet-friendly office environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills and knowledge.
  • Prior experience in the vacation ownership, hospitality, or real estate industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing delinquency campaigns or accounts receivable portfolios.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with workflow delegation, process improvement, and project management.
  • A proactive leader with a proven ability to resolve escalated issues and coach a team through complex challenges.
