Company Description

We're seeking diligent, outgoing, and enthusiastic bar and waiting staff to join our friendly team here at the Governor's House Hotel over the busy festive period. Some experience is preferred, and ability to work evenings and weekends is a must. This is a fixed-term, part-time vacancy, with potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

As Bar/Waiting Staff, you will be key to creating memorable moments for customers, be it by pouring our great beers to perfection, recommending meals off for that special family occasion. You’ll be joining a fun, inclusive, and experienced team for the Christmas period, where you can grow and strengthen your skills and experience in our lively pub and restaurant.

Job Description

As Bar and Waiting Staff, you will...

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit;
• Know the menu and drinks range inside out, offering recommendations to customers;
• Greet, serve food, and look after our customers whilst they dine with us;
• Prepare drinks that meet specs and customer expectations and assist the management team with managing stock;
• Make sure the front of house is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.

• Have a great eye for detail, liaising with the kitchen to ensure each and every guest has a great experience;

Qualifications

Experience is preferred but not essential, however ability to work evenings and weekends, sometimes until close (up to 1am at weekends) is essential.
