Shape the future of pharmaceutical production! At Exyte, a leading engineering service provider for the pharmaceutical industry, you will take on a key role in planning and implementing complex plant projects. Join an interdisciplinary team and contribute your expertise to deliver innovative solutions for sterile manufacturing processes.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop and design production facilities for sterile filling lines (syringes, vials, freeze-drying) – from concept to handover.
  • Solve complex technical challenges in formulation, material handling, and auxiliary processes.
  • Define standards and solutions in high-containment environments (OEB4–5).
  • Structure and coordinate projects within the team – technical leadership without disciplinary responsibility.
  • Manage costs, timelines, and quality for your planning scope and oversee technical procurement.
  • Support suppliers from award through FAT/SAT and qualification phases (DQ, IQ, OQ).
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and quality standards and drive best practices forward.

Show your expertise

  • Degree in pharmaceutical engineering, process engineering, biotechnology, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in plant engineering, plant design, or pharmaceutical production.
  • In-depth GMP knowledge and active engagement with regulatory developments.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, confident in dealing with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in project structuring, cost and time planning, and technical procurement.
  • Willingness to travel within Germany and to international suppliers; excellent German and English skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong network within the pharma and plant engineering industry.
