Job Title: Software Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Entry Level Software Engineer to join a dynamic team within an automotive supplier in the Dublin, Ohio area. This role focuses on the software development and testing of infotainment and navigation systems for a major Automotive OEM.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and test infotainment software for automotive systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to integrate software with hardware components.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative features for navigation systems.
  • Utilize Git for version control and collaborate on source code management.

Essential Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience with Android Applications.
  • Proficiency in C++ programming language.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in software application development and source code management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with infotainment systems.
  • Familiarity with the Japanese automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of wire Android applications.

Work Environment

The position offers a positive and supportive small team environment. You will occasionally work at Honda facilities and gain exposure to a Japanese automotive environment. The opportunity to transition to a direct position may be available after nine months.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dublin, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.45 - $31.25/hr.
