Gucci Korea is currently seeking a maternity leave replacement for a period of 10 months for the position of Sr. Event Specialist. This full-time position is based in the Gucci Korea office and will report directly to the Vice President of Communications.

The mission of this role is to create and maintain a favorable brand image by planning and executing events related to the brand.

A handover will be planned in the early stages, and the employee will be expected to lead projects independently while reporting directly to the Vice President in the later stages.

Job Description

ROLE MISSION

Gucci Korea is currently seeking a maternity leave replacement for a period of 10 months for the position of Sr. Event Specialist. This full-time position is based in the Gucci Korea office and will report directly to the Vice President of Communications.

The mission of this role is to create and maintain a favorable brand image by planning and executing events related to the brand.

A handover will be planned in the early stages, and the employee will be expected to lead projects independently while reporting directly to the Vice President in the later stages.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Event/Project planning/ Execution

1) Overall Event Strategic plan / execution for:

• Product/Campaign launch event
• Offsite collection preview event
• Special art & culture collaboration project
• Celebrity photocall event in store and offsite

2) Agency bidding

• Conduct agency bidding for required project/event by coworking with procurement team
• Care of contract and negotiation

3) Reporting

• Reporting to Gucci Headquarters about event proposal including production and operational plan
• Internal discussion and alignment

Budget

• Annual budget (FC1 / FC2) management & development
• Monthly expense check & review (ledger)
• Estimate & cost/expense handling for Comm/ Brand image events

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Over 10 years relevant experience, preferably in luxury and retail industry
• Proactive problem solving with a can-do attitude
• Excellent planning, organization skills with a drive to meet tight deadlines and budgets
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills
• A good team player
