Role Overview

As a Junior Sales Associate, you will support Frost & Sullivan’s Automotive & Transportation team in identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities within the India automotive ecosystem. The role requires strong communication skills, a passion for technology and mobility trends, and the ability to engage with key stakeholders across OEMs, suppliers, and new-age mobility companies.

You will work closely with senior sales leaders and consulting managers to drive pipeline growth, manage client relationships, and support business development initiatives tied to Frost & Sullivan’s subscription research, advisory, and growth partnership services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify prospective clients within the India automotive and transportation sectors (OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, component manufacturers, fleet operators, etc.).
  • Conduct initial outreach through email, phone, and LinkedIn to schedule discovery and capability meetings.
  • Support the development of tailored proposals and presentations in collaboration with senior consultants and analysts.
  • Track and manage leads through Frost & Sullivan’s CRM system.
  • Participate in virtual and on-site client meetings to understand requirements and align solutions.
  • Assist in renewals and account growth initiatives by maintaining regular contact with existing clients.
  • Support internal coordination between research, consulting, and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of client materials.
  • Stay informed about major trends in automotive technology - software-defined vehicles, EVs, ADAS, connected mobility, and aftermarket transformation to engage clients with relevant insights.
  • Represent Frost & Sullivan at industry conferences, webinars, and networking events as needed.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related discipline (MBA preferred but not required).
  • 0–2 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or account management (preferably in B2B or research/consulting environments).
  • Strong interest in automotive, mobility, and emerging technology markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn from senior mentors.
