Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery within a manufacturing environment. This role encompasses a variety of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components such as relays, variable frequency drives, electrical cabinets, 3-phase motors, switches, and wiring.
• Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems including pneumatic lines, hydraulic lines, part replacement, boilers, extruders, rotary presses, and mixers.
• Handle hydraulic systems involving pumps, waterlines, boilers, wastewater, and various types of valves.
• Adhere to safety procedures, including lock-out tag-out, to ensure a safe working environment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, with a focus on Ladder Logic.

Essential Skills

• 2-4 years of experience troubleshooting relays, variable frequency drives, electrical cabinets, and 3-phase motors.
• 2-4 years of experience reading blueprints and wiring industrial equipment.
• 2-4 years of mechanical troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment, including part repair and replacement.
• 2-4 years of experience troubleshooting PLCs, with a preference for Ladder Logic.
• 2-4 years of experience with hydraulic systems, including piping, pumps, and valves.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience with Ladder Logic.
• 2-3 years of experience in part repair and replacement.
• A Technical Degree in Industrial Maintenance or Mechatronics, or equivalent training over 4 years.

Work Environment

Work in a fabric manufacturing facility that is fairly clean but not climate-controlled. Some areas can be hot. The maintenance team consists of 8 members spread over 3 shifts, with one maintenance manager and no shift supervisors. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed shoes, and a work shirt. Shifts include 1st (7am-3pm), 2nd (3:30pm-11pm), and 3rd (11pm-7am), with occasional overtime and weekend work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.20 - $27.20/hr.
