Maintenance Technician: This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role supports production by minimizing downtime and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems before breakdowns occur.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
- Install, adjust, and test new equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Assist with facility upkeep, including lighting, plumbing, and basic building repairs.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to schedule and complete maintenance work efficiently.
- Order and manage parts and tools as needed to complete repairs.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
