Join our R&D Tech Hub in Wroclaw

HelloFresh Group, the world’s leading integrated food solutions provider, is expanding with a new R&D Tech office in Poland. With brands offering meal kits, ready-to-eat meals, and specialty products such as meat, seafood, and pet food, we are seeking individuals who are ready to make an impact from day one. Joining us in Wrocław means shaping the culture, working on meaningful R&D Tech projects, and contributing to a global company changing how people eat.

Working at HelloFresh

At HelloFresh Group, we are driven by a high-performance culture that values speed, agility, and continuous learning. We believe in hands-on contribution and fostering a truly collaborative, egoless environment where every team member contributes to our mission of changing the way people eat, forever and welcome team players who thrive in a dynamic environment, lead with ownership, and bring diverse perspectives to the table.

Our teams thrive on in-person collaboration, with an expectation to work from the office four days a week. This approach creates a dynamic space where ideas flourish, decisions are made efficiently, and our collective impact is accelerated. It's how we stay closely connected to our shared goals and drive swift execution.

The role

Our Behavioral Data Squad is a cross-functional team with end-to-end ownership of digital tracking across all markets globally at HelloFresh, from infrastructure all the way to the curated data products. As our Staff Data Analyst, you will play an integral part in ensuring data quality, governance and observability by defining and building the metrics, visualisations, and targets within the squad. You will also be a data detective, deep diving into root cause analyses of tracking discrepancies or anomalous readings, to further drive up trust and adoption.

If you are an expert analyst and a self-starter, with the product-sense to create effective success metrics and use these to inspire trust in a global business, this could be the role for you. Your deep understanding of behavioural tracking infrastructure and data models enables you to identify needs and pain points across Data Infrastructure, Platform, Engineering and Analytics, and defining solutions to constantly improve the way we work. So while you are an individual contributor, you are a key owner of best practices across our teams.

What you’ll do

  • Accountable for your teams’ data catalogue and delivery documentation
  • Collaborate from a technical perspective with data product managers and data engineers to create reusable data products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project objectives while utilising project management skills to plan and execute data-driven projects
  • Partner widely across the Senior Product organisation (Product, Software Engineering, UX leads) to set strategic priorities and promote a culture rooted in evidence-based decision making.
  • Communicate actionable insights clearly across the organisation highlighting the “so-whats” of your analyses in order to drive the growth of our business.
  • Explore and analyse customer behaviour and product performance data in order to detect growth opportunities for the HelloFresh digital product by improving user experience.
  • Guide and mentor other Product Analysts within our team, defining best practices and providing support to help individuals and the team grow in effectiveness
  • Review as a technical expert the implementations of multiple teams across domains, continuously improving the deliverables of your teams

What you’ll bring

  • Extensive experience in quantitative analysis roles, ideally including having worked closely with product teams for at least 5 years.
  • Excellent technical skills applying expert level SQL and Python for both analysis and efficient manipulation of large data sets.
  • Expert level knowledge of data visualisation tools like Tableau which we use to create compelling visualisations to convey complex data.
  • Extensive experience working with product stakeholders in setting up A|B experiments, interpreting results and deep diving to understand the impact of particular experiments.
  • Excellent communication skills, taking complex business problems, articulating these as analytical problems and presenting your findings in a clear and precise way.
  • Extensive leadership of complex projects you have led, capability building within your team, and through mentorship or direct people management.
  • A change mindset, the status quo is not an impediment
  • You are outcome oriented, and can take a business challenge, create actionable analytical insights against it, and align stakeholders on actions to create business value.
