Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract with a client in Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates must have hands-on experience with advanced Java concepts, Microservices, and Spring Boot to be considered.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Developer job responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain scalable applications using Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
  • Design and implement responsive front-end components using AngularJS, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
  • Build and consume RESTful web services for seamless integration across systems.
  • Apply object-oriented design principles and design patterns to solve complex development challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Work with Oracle databases to manage data operations and ensure backend efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8–10 years of professional experience in Java/J2EE development.
  • Must have strong hands-on expertise in Advanced Java concepts, Microservices architecture, and Spring Boot framework.
  • Proven experience in front-end technologies including AngularJS, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, along with backend integration using Oracle and Hibernate.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $60.00 per hour
