Your Impact

As a Data Scientist at QuantumBlack, you will work in multi-disciplinary teams to harness the power of data and deliver real-world impact for organizations globally. Your work will directly influence the recommendations our clients need to drive meaningful change and enhance their performance.

In this role, you will tackle complex and diverse data challenges, working with some of the world’s largest organizations. You will develop high-quality data science solutions and products, focusing on advanced modeling and analytics.

While collaborating with client teams and internal experts, you will present findings, provide actionable recommendations, and consult with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of data-driven strategies.

You will gain exposure to a variety of industries and sectors, building large-scale data and analytics solutions to address complex business problems. Along the way, you will learn and apply best practices in data science, including responsible AI usage, secure and sustainable development, and scalable solutions.

Working in a collaborative and multicultural environment, you will partner with data scientists, ML engineers, project managers, and business experts to deliver impactful solutions. You will also stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science tools and technologies, while participating in world-class learning programs to continuously enhance your skills.

You will solve real-world problems by analyzing and modeling complex datasets, transforming raw data into actionable insights. Your qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in computer science, machine learning, applied statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field
  • Up to 2 years of experience in programming or data science. (Note: Candidates with less experience but strong potential are encouraged to apply)
  • Statistical Knowledge: Strong foundation in statistics and data analysis is required. Familiarity with GenAI core concepts is a nice-to-have (e.g., LLMs, RAG architecture, embeddings, and prompt engineering techniques)
  • Proficiency in Python is a must. Experience with R, SQL, or Spark is highly valued. Familiarity with other tools such as, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hadoop is a plus. Familiarity with LLM tech-stack (e.g., Langchain, llamaindex) is also a plus
  • Proven ability to work effectively in team environments and with stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure is a nice-to-have
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Italian. Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Portuguese, German, French, Spanish) is a plus
