In the UK we work with clients in a wide range of sectors and industries, from some of the largest organisations in the world, to smaller, faster-growing organisations where we often help them start and manage their internal audit activities. We work with some of the world’s largest financial services firms, including providing internal audit services to six of the top 10 globally systemically important banks, as well as several other investment, commercial and retail banks, and asset managers and insurers.

What You Can Expect:

The Senior Manager is responsible for the effective execution of all aspects of client engagements and maintaining strong relationships with senior client personnel. The Senior Manager must have a solid understanding of their client’s business and be able to demonstrate technical competence in their product group and industry.

The Senior Manager ensures quality and satisfaction on engagements and must be able to clearly articulate the value drivers of our business. The Senior Manager is responsible for developing opportunities both at existing clients and new clients and is responsible for project set up and economics and for ensuring the timely close and billing of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Participates in engagement sales opportunities with existing and new clients
• Managers broad range of routine responsibilities on multiple client engagements related to client project management and business development activities
• Effectively manages client relationships with senior personnel
• Contributes to employee development by actively mentoring employees, creating development opportunities, and initiating and conducting training
• Demonstrates the ability to discuss technical and industry trends in specific projects/ Financial Services industry
• Demonstrates the ability to deliver specific product solutions to clients
• Demonstrates expertise in specific Financial Services technical areas
• Assists Engagement D/MD in managing engagement risk
• Participates in recruiting efforts to support Protiviti business objectives
• Enhances Protiviti’s market presence and exposure to develop opportunities with new Financial Services clients

Our Workplace and Employment Process

Protiviti practices a hybrid wording model, which is a combination of working in person with purpose and working remotely with a minimum of 2 days in the office. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client, project, team, and other business factors. It can sometimes mean more of a full-time presence at our client. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local, or UK wide travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments.

Remuneration and Benefits

Starting salaries are competitive and are based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the salary range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location.

Employees are eligible for medical and dental insurance cover, life assurance, pension scheme and receive up to 25 days holiday per calendar year. Protiviti also recognises up to 10 paid holidays each calendar year and additional benefits as part of the Robert Half Enterprise. Our London office is based in the Shard which comes with the additional advantage of more benefits as an occupier of the Shard.
