Worldpac, a leading name in automotive parts distribution, is looking for a Sales Representative Outbound I to develop and implement proficient selling skills while demonstrating specific repetitive competencies in the areas of prospecting, growing, developing, and maintaining an active assigned customer account base.

This includes effectively soliciting future business clients and maximizing sales to existing accounts. The position requires the individual to demonstrate the ability to grow sales while consistently improving the quality and performance of assigned customers.

This role is an outbound sales role, managing customers over the phone from the office/branch location.

What You Will Contribute at Worldpac

  • Achieves assigned performance goals and objectives by overseeing a finite number of active customers as defined by leadership.
  • Develops new leads and maximizes current customer potential by utilizing all available resources, including referrals, data mining tools, developing and leveraging relationships, and expanding current knowledge of new product and market developments.
  • Documents all relevant account activity in the CRM tool or other appropriate areas.
  • Represents the organization professionally and in accordance with the code of conduct and ethics.
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with territory development managers, branch operations leadership team, customer support, and other internal departments.
  • Prepares a yearly budget for the assigned customer base, including new customer development based on market potential.
  • Occasional travel is required for this position.

What You Should Have

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 1-3 years of related experience.
  • At least 1 year of telemarketing or customer service experience.
  • Extensive automotive parts knowledge; import knowledge is a plus.
  • Order processing knowledge and familiarity with computer catalogs.
  • Comfortable with all aspects of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Extremely organized and demonstrates the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Has excellent multitasking ability and is a demonstrated self-starter.
  • Willingness to continue to evolve and develop personal skills to meet a changing environment.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Must be available for occasional travel.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Highly motivated with creative ideas.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple customer accounts and successfully multi-task.
  • Adaptable to a changing environment and capable of embracing the continuous improvement process.
  • Proficient with data entry, including speed and accuracy, with strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Skills (but not required):

  • Bilingual skills.

Worldpac expects to pay a base salary in the range provided on this job posting. Generally, we look to bring in candidates around the 50th percentile of the advertised range. However, this is never a guarantee. Within the range, individual pay will be determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
