The Opportunity

We’re looking for a driven undergraduate student to join our Logistics team. This role offers hands-on experience and exposure across internal business units and external business units, ideal for a student seeking to build skills and launch their career in a dynamic environment. This is a 12-month full-time opportunity based at our Clayton headquarters.

Job Description

  • Learning and applying Supply Chain principles to real-world scenarios, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.
  • Provide operational support to the ANZ Supply Chain team by:
    • Managing inventory for key accounts,
    • Maintaining transfer networks,
    • Providing analysis and reports to business stakeholders,
    • Supporting the execution of ad hoc projects, and
    • Identifying and managing improvement initiatives to automate daily tasks.
  • Applying a commercially minded approach to daily activities by analysing and identifying cost saving opportunities.
  • Fostering a culture of connectedness within the team and across the wider department.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in and have completed a minimum of 1 year towards an undergraduate degree in Supply chain, Logistics, International Business or similar.

The following experiences are required:

  • Intermediate to advanced Computer skills – MS Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Access.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical reasoning skills.
  • Outcome-driven and reliable in completing routine and complex tasks.
  • Acute attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, confidence with written and verbal English.
  • Proactive in seeking information, applying context, and sharing knowledge with others.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships in a diverse, cross functional environment.
