About This Opportunity…

You will be part of cross-functional and multiregional development organization utilizing broad set of technologies and tools. You will contribute into development and delivery of features bringing higher level of automation as a result.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will…

• Build and maintain the backend services and APIs for a Web App that serves as a Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
• Develop scalable and secure backend solutions using Python.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm to deploy and manage services in a cloud environment.
• Collaborate closely with solution engineers, frontend developers, and data science teams to integrate AI-driven x-ray analysis into the application.
• Ensure backend services support multi-language capabilities and responsive performance for desktop and iPad form factors.
• Implement best practices for security, compliance, and reliability in a medical SaaS environment.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and continuous improvement of backend infrastructure.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

In this role, you’ll need …

• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development.
• 5+ years of experience in relevant field
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for containerization and orchestration.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (frontend, data science, solution engineering).
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements for medical software.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of cyber security best practices and tooling.
• Bachelor's degree (Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent) with 5+ years of directly related experience, or Master of Science degree with 3+ years of directly related experience
