The Opportunity:

Revolution Medicines is seeking a Treasurer to architect and lead the company’s global treasury and insurance functions during a period of rapid growth and international expansion. This role will drive capital efficiency, liquidity optimization, financial risk management, and scalability across all global entities, ensuring that treasury infrastructure and policies evolve in step with the company’s transition toward commercialization.

Reporting to the VP, Finance, the Treasurer will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, shaping decisions that impact the company’s global capital structure, funding strategy, and enterprise risk posture.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Treasury Leadership

  • Define and execute Revolution Medicines’ global treasury strategy, aligning capital structure, liquidity, and risk management with the company’s growth and commercialization objectives.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to the VP, Finance, CFO, and executive leadership on cash deployment, investment alternatives, and financial risk mitigation.
  • Establish a forward-looking framework for treasury scalability across systems, processes, and organizational design.

Banking, Liquidity & Investment Management

  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and governance of global banking partners to ensure efficient support for international operations and new-market entry.
  • Oversee cash and liquidity management, maintaining an integrated global cash forecast across all legal entities.
  • Partner with Tax, Legal, and FP&A to manage intercompany funding, repatriation, dividends, and royalty/IP payment flows.
  • Develop and maintain the company’s investment policy, balancing return on capital with liquidity and risk considerations; present strategy to the VP, Finance, CFO, and Audit Committee.

Risk & FX Management

  • Design and maintain a comprehensive FX risk management framework, quantifying exposures and proposing hedging strategies; present and implement approved recommendations.
  • Oversee insurance strategy and execution, ensuring global coverage scales with Revolution Medicines’ evolving operational and geographic footprint.

Treasury Infrastructure & Controls

  • Drive treasury automation and system transformation, including assessment, implementation, and continuous improvement of global treasury management platforms.
  • Establish governance policies and controls for cash management, bank account lifecycle, signatory and access rights, and entity-level limits.
  • Manage the global corporate card and payment authorization programs.

Leadership & Governance

  • Actively participate as a member of the 401(k) Committee, contributing to investment oversight and fiduciary compliance.
  • Provide executive-level insights to influence enterprise financial decisions, risk appetite, and balance sheet strategy.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, ideally with exposure to publicly traded, global, high-growth, or life sciences organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required.
  • Deep knowledge of cash forecasting, FX, liquidity management, investments, and risk/insurance programs.
  • Demonstrated success scaling treasury infrastructure through periods of rapid organizational growth and geographic expansion.
  • Skilled in banking relationship management, treasury systems implementation, and cross-functional collaboration with FP&A, Tax, and Legal.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally.
