Posting Summary
We are seeking applications for a full-time, 12-month non-tenure track Associate Professor – Teaching Track appointment in the Department of Health Behavior, Society, and Policy (HBSP). The successful candidate will primarily be devoted to our teaching mission. Courses are offered in-person, remotely (via Zoom) and asynchronously. In-person and remote courses meet in the afternoon or early evening. Class sizes tend to be relatively small (fewer than 40 students). The Department currently has four concentrations, Social and Behavioral Health Sciences (SBHS), Population Mental Health (PMH), Health Systems and Policy and Population Aging, . The candidate will teach courses in SBHS and PMH; develop asynchronous formats for courses currently offered in-person or remotely; and provide academic and practicum advising, as well as mentoring for Master of Public Health degree students and DrPH students; serve on DrPH dissertation committees. This is a renewable, 1-year, appointment.
