This is a multi-level posting. Candidates may be considered for any of the posted levels 15 or 16, depending on their level of experience and depth of expertise.
Working independently under minimal supervision, the Systems and Development Analyst III or Sr level conducts analysis, creates system specifications, develops, evaluates, and implements engineering, scientific and business applications, operating systems, and file/database servers. Utilizes existing or innovative technology in the automation of processes. Evaluates software packages and provides recommendations to management.
In addition to the above, the S&D Analyst III and Sr. will include the following responsibilities:
Education Bachelor's degree in management information systems (MIS), computer science or related technical field or equivalent work experience. (Typically, four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)
A minimum of five years of experience in systems analysis or software application development is required for the level III role.
Basic knowledge of development, troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and implementation in SaaS – Software as a Service cloud system.
Basic knowledge of relational database technology.
Basic knowledge of information technology terms, equipment, systems, functions, and major vendors.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Effective analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently while working in a remote team environment.
Availability for periodic on-call responsibilities.
Business knowledge/experience with Financial, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Joint Venture Management (JVM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications, processes, and procedures, in one or more of the following systems: Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle EBS, Oracle PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS) and Azure Dev Ops; preferred.
Experience integrating Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) solutions within an environment with strong change and release management processes and procedures.
Technical knowledge with direct experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud, Project Portfolio Management, Oracle EBS, Oracle PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS) and Azure Dev Ops.
Technical knowledge in .NET and other current computing programming languages.
