The Department of Mathematics & Physics at Iona University is seeking applications for a full-time Clinical Lecturer of Physics (non-tenure track) to begin in Fall 2026. For this position we seek candidates with demonstrated expertise in any area of theoretical physics, experimental physics, physics education, or closely related fields. We are especially interested in candidates with interdisciplinary scholarly interests who can collaborate with faculty from other disciplines.
Iona University and the Department of Mathematics & Physics emphasize teaching excellence. The department offers an undergraduate major and minor in Mathematics, a minor in Physics, and support for mathematics education degrees at the undergraduate and graduate level. The department also offers courses in support of other undergraduate majors and the university core.

Faculty in the department use diverse teaching methods including the use of technology. Class sizes are small with core classes having 25 or fewer students.
