Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a hospital or large healthcare facility pharmacy department.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards such as Joint Commission and HIPAA.
• Advanced technical skills related to automated dispensing system configuration and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement process for pharmaceuticals and related supplies, including vendor selection, order placement, and inventory tracking.
• Administer and maintain the Pyxis automated medication dispensing systems, including system updates, user account management, and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical staff to forecast medication needs and adjust inventory levels accordingly to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to medication purchasing, storage, and dispensing, including documentation and reporting.
• Train and support pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals on the proper use of Pyxis systems and related procedures.
