Job Description
Indiana University East invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Business Administration and Management. We seek an innovative and dedicated educator-scholar committed to excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement. The successful candidate will contribute to our growing programs through high-quality instruction, applied scholarship, and active involvement in student success initiatives—both in-person and online.H-1B visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Administration and Management, including International Business and Human Resource Management.
- Demonstrate flexibility in teaching across at least two of the following areas:
- Human Resource Management
- International Business
- Strategic Management and Innovation/New Venture Creation
- Deliver engaging instruction using online and in-person modalities, integrating effective technologies and AI applications in teaching.
- Maintain an active and sustainable research and scholarship program consistent with AACSB accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with local businesses to provide experiential learning opportunities such as internships, consulting projects, and field experiences.
- Participate in student mentoring, curriculum development, and service to the School, University, and community.
- Manage the learning environment effectively by maintaining accurate records, meeting reporting deadlines, and upholding academic policies.
- Foster an inclusive and respectful learning community that supports diverse populations.
Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate (Ph.D. or D.B.A.) in Strategic Management, International Business, Business Administration (with an appropriate concentration), or a closely related field or ABD to be completed in one year.
- Evidence of or potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability or potential to engage in scholarly research leading to peer-reviewed publications.
- Fluency and pedagogical competence in AI applications relevant to business education.
