You will provide strategic analytics, guide commercial decision-making, and deliver solutions that drive revenue growth, optimize performance, and strengthen the team’s market impact.

Your new role

This role is integral to enabling data-driven decision-making across commercial teams and stakeholders. By providing actionable insights, developing (new) market models, and leveraging analytics, you will help shape strategy, guide initiatives, and optimize performance. The position requires close collaboration with commercial teams, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, impactful insights.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a data-driven partner to commercial teams and the NL leadership team, participating in meetings, understanding initiatives, and challenging approaches to drive better decision-making.
  • Develop insights on new customer groups and segments, including Private Market and E-Health, and contribute to innovative Go-to-Market models.
  • Build and maintain market models for key therapeutic areas such as Obesity, Cardiovascular disease and MASH.
  • Lead and manage market research projects and competitor intelligence analyses, coordinating with marketing and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Excellence, Customer Experience, and international colleagues to ensure alignment and sharing of relevant insights.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights using tools like MS Excel and PowerBI, considering user experience and commercial impact.
  • Work with external data vendors and 3rd party technical providers to ensure data accuracy, optimize infrastructure, and support advanced analytics initiatives.

Your new department

The Customer Engagement (‘CE’) department unites Customer & Market Insights with the enabling ecosystem and the channel expertise available. It enables the NL organisation by providing timely insights and fully incorporate digital channels in the go-to-market model. The output and contribution is data-driven, objective and challenging and CE members are part of cross-functional teams, driving commercial decision-making.

Your skills & qualifications

The ideal candidate is proactive, takes ownership, and thrives in a dynamic, continuously evolving environment. They demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities, a high degree of trustworthiness, and a consistent focus on quality and timely delivery. They are able to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders—especially within commercial teams—and think from both a patient- and customer-centric perspective.

  • Master’s degree with 3+ years experience in data analytics, preferably within a commercial organization
  • Mandatory pharmaceutical industry experience; experience in Obesity and/or Cardiometabolic areas is a plus
  • Strong modelling skills in MS Excel; basic competencies in PowerBI
  • Experience with data warehouses, MS Fabric, and/or Snowflake is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
