Heritage Valley Beaver Inpatient Pharmacy is looking for a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to work in the inpatient pharmacy. Inpatient pharmacy technicians job responsibilities include; compounding, stocking, repackaging and batching from bulk medications, preparing routine patient orders for IV pharmaceuticals including compounding, preparation and labeling of any IV admixture, restocking and inventory management of automated dispensing cabinets, along with other responsibilities as assigned.
As part of the patient care team, the pharmacy technician provides assistance to the pharmacist and requires a commitment to continually support pharmacy services in order to provide quality care and efficient operations while considering fiscal responsibility.

Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent. A commensurate combination of education/experience will be considered.
Willingness to complete pharmacy technician registration with the PA State Board of Pharmacy.
Successful completion of Acts 73 and/or 169 clearances within 90 days of commencing employment, if applicable.
Preferred:
Graduate of a certified Pharmacy Technician’s training program and/or one (1) year experience in Hospital Pharmacy Setting as a Pharmacy Technician.
