This position will be required to work a rotating schedule, evening, holidays and weekends.

Why does the job exist?

This position will provide and monitor standard nursing care services for residents in Long-Term Care Facility while ensuring that all patient care provided is safe and of quality nature, ensure that all policies and procedures are followed. This position will also serve as supervisor for the respective assigned shift.

Residents in the facility.

Ideal Candidate

Experience as a License Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care Facility setting.

Minimum Qualification

Licensure as LPN or LVN, and two (2) years of experience as it pertains to the essential duties and responsibilities of the classification. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field above licensure requirements and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required experience.

Employment Requirements

Pre-employment background check is required, and hire is conditional pending results.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a hospital setting, long hours of sitting and computer use, bending, walking, phone use, must be able to lift 50 lbs.
