Key Account Manager – Key Responsibilities
Develop and drive customer and C&D brand development management with a key focus on profitability and the growth of our brands within the customer. Execute the customer strategy by ensuring the implementation of the Joint Business Plan (JBP). Meet the objectives established in the annual plan, such as executing trade marketing plans, managing inventories, onboarding new products, analyzing P&L, designing and presenting JBPs, and leading collaboration across teams.
- Develop and oversee the comprehensive strategy for the club channel.
- Drive financial performance through strategic P&L management and commercial investments.
- Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert on club channel trends and dynamics, translating market insights into actionable growth strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with key account leaders in the club channel, positioning Church & Dwight as a preferred supplier partner.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between customer stakeholders and internal teams across marketing, product/packaging development, replenishment, and supply chain to support mutual growth objectives.
- Lead the development and execution of customer-specific initiatives that drive category growth while maintaining alignment with internal strategic priorities.
- Lead projects related to product/SKU development, assortment decisions, packaging, and pricing strategies aligned with internal goals and customer expectations.
- Analyze data, shopper insights, and category expertise to identify growth opportunities and create innovative, customer-centric solutions.
- Establish and adjust pricing plans, discount rates, offers, and promotions tailored to each customer and growth potential.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize account growth and profitability.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to account development and revenue growth.
