Position Title: HR Coordinator

Location: Houston, TX

Assignment Type: 6- month contract

Compensation: $25 - $30 / hr

Work Schedule: Part Time 20-25 hours a week

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Duties:

  • Support HR operations for a 250-300 employee Houston location
  • Maintain and update HRIS and employee records
  • Draft and prepare offer letters
  • Serve as first point of contact for HR-related inquiries
  • Provide support on payroll and benefits administration
  • Assist with onboarding and employee support activities
  • Help ensure smooth HR operations during a post-merger transition

Qualifications:

  • Degree preferred or currently pursuing (Associate or Bachelor’s acceptable)
  • 1+ year of HR experience or HR internship experience preferred
  • Strong customer service mindset and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems; SuccessFactors and ADP experience a plus (not required)
  • Proactive, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
