As National Project Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and expanding our Project Logistics business in the Netherlands. At Kuehne+Nagel, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering complex, large-scale logistics solutions - from offshore wind components to industrial equipment and time-sensitive air shipments. Your leadership will ensure that essential cargo reaches its destination safely, efficiently, and on time, while driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. How you create impact

• Lead and develop the Project Logistics business unit within Sea Logistics, aligning national operations with global strategy.
• Manage a diverse team of 20 professionals across operations, customer service, and commercial functions, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Drive commercial excellence by developing competitive, customer-centric pricing strategies and identifying new market opportunities.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring safe, compliant, and timely delivery of complex marine, industrial, and air cargo shipments.
• Own the full P&L responsibility, optimizing costs, margins, and overall business performance.
• Translate global initiatives into actionable local strategies tailored to the Dutch logistics market.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, suppliers, and partners to expand market share and enhance client satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless, cross-functional coordination and continuous improvement.

What we would like you to bring

• Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in international freight forwarding and project logistics.
• Proven success managing complex logistics projects involving marine, industrial, and air freight operations.
• Strong commercial acumen and business development skills with a record of driving profitable growth.
• Deep understanding of the Dutch logistics market, including its commercial dynamics and regulatory environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills in English (Dutch proficiency highly preferred).
• A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to lead teams through change and growth.
• Strategic thinker with solid financial management capabilities and a focus on long-term sustainability.
• Collaborative leader who can inspire performance and foster a culture of excellence across all functions.
