Dream Finders Homes is a privately owned home builder with operations in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, Colorado, Virginia and Maryland. Due to our continued growth both locally and nationally, we are looking to add an Estimator to our Jacksonville Division.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare material take-offs and verification on existing and new product categories
• Maintain system set-up and customization
• Develop and maintain specifications and scopes of work
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors
• Responsible for bid collection, specification details, plan updates, software implementation
• Correlate with Construction management regarding adjustments to plans, vendors, materials, etc.
• Ongoing process improvement tasks between purchasing, design studio, and sales

Desired Qualifications:

• BA in Construction Management, Building Sciences or related discipline
• 3+ years minimum of residential or commercial material take-off experience
• Experience in Construction estimating Skilled user in MS Excel, New Star, BuildPro/SupplyPro a plus.
• Proven experience with floor plan development and design
• Strong interpersonal and technical skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities or projects

Compensation

75000 to 90000
