Job Description

We are looking for a driven undergraduate student to join our Human Resources department. This opportunity offers broad exposure to HR operations, project work and local application support across our Australian and New Zealand businesses. You’ll gain experience in everything from system administration to process improvement, as you collaborate with teams across both locations, and learn the fundamentals of HR in a global organisation. This is a 12-month full-time opportunity based at our Clayton headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting HR projects: create documentation, timelines, reports and presentations
  • Conduct research and provide insights to guide HR decision-making
  • Collect, organise and analyse data; prepare dashboards and reports to highlight key trends
  • Assist in the development and optimisation of HR processes and systems
  • Manage HR admin tasks: scheduling meetings, preparing materials and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Set up IT access for new employees and help with general user support for HR systems
  • Contribute to health & safety initiatives by assisting with risk assessments, inspections and incident reporting
  • Participate in student placement program activities, support cross-functional collaboration and share best practice

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business (HR major), or Psychology; at least 2 years completed
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams) and ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Exposure to data and reporting tools is a plus
  • Experience working as part of a team; administrative or retail/hospitality experience valued
  • Excellent time management, organisation, attention to detail and communication skills
  • Proactive, curious and solutions-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
