Position: Manager, Advanced Analytics
Job Location: 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030
Duties: Provide insightful analysis and make recommendations to management regarding cost saving and/or profitability improvement strategies. Analyze large quantities of data such as inventory, transportation, and fulfillment data to help the Supply Chain team and other parts of the organization make decisions that drive value. Design important business metrics and use Looker and Tableau to build data visualization dashboards and custom business intelligence reports. Guide the development and implementation of prototypes and production-ready complex algorithms for workstreams and individual projects. Drive the testing and validation process to monitor solutions. Generate insights for supply chain optimization utilizing big data and create business critical dashboards in Tableau, targeted at driving improved experience for customers. Design and build scalable data pipelines across data warehouses using SQL to efficiently maintain years of historical data and allow analysts to easily access the data for analyses and modelling. Create data tables using SQL in Google Cloud Server. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Analytics, or related field; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Analytics, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field.
Skills required: Experience working with large and complex datasets, finding insights, and telling stories using data. Experience coding in Google Big Query using SQL. Experience manipulating large quantities of data to drive business decisions. Experience building scalable data pipelines across data warehouses using SQL to maintain historical data for analysis and modelling. Experience using Python and R. Experience with supply chain and inventory management in retail and eCommerce. Experience developing business metrics in an analytical and scientific manner. Experience creating dashboards using data visualization tools including Tableau and Looker. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $109,491/year to $186,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
