Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking reliable candidates for a Maintenance position with a Local Aluminum foundry in Dickson. This position will pay $35 / hr., and the hours are Monday & Tuesday from 7AM-7PM and Friday & Saturday from 7:00AM-7:00PM..

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintenance of all equipment and machinery
• Conduct inspections, testing, and adjustments of plant systems, equipment, and machinery
• Preventative maintenance and repairs of buildings, grounds, equipment, and machinery
• Promptly respond to all safety and emergency calls and perform all tasks requested by the supervisor, superintendent, or other management personnel
• Adhere to lockout and tag procedures, prioritizing safety at all times.
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Has High School Diploma or GED
• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs.
• Able to read hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic schematics, and ladder diagrams
• Able to weld and build sand pipe (Mig, Tig, Stick)
• Able to modify basic PLC programming
• Able to operate Forklift, Scissor Lift and JLG Lift
• Capable of working in a non temperature-controlled environment
• Capable of physical movements such as reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting products above the shoulders if necessary
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Closed toed shoes/boots, Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear, Hearing Protection
