Instrumentation Technician – Baton Rouge, LA

Direct hire

$24-30 / hr.

Day Shift 8am – 5pm

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for an Instrumentation Technician for a local client in East Baton Rouge. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Instrumentation Technician with experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial instrumentation and control systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical systems, instrumentation calibration, and a comprehensive understanding of various industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, calibrate, and maintain a variety of industrial instrumentation and control systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on instrumentation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions to ensure the continuous operation of industrial processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Industrial Instrumentation Technician or similar role.
• Valid TWIC card.
• Willing and able to Travel throughout Southern Louisiana when needed.
• Associate degree or equivalent in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation, control systems, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and SCADA systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• NCCER Certification is a Preferred.

Benefits:

• Overtime if wanted minimum of 40 hours max of 70 hours a week.
• Per Diem to travel
• Out of state travel if wanted.
• 75 to 150 seven day per diem depending on site.
• Room for Growth
