Our Client near Cranberry Twp is looking for Panel Assemblers for their
manufacturing center.
Panel Builder
Plans layout, installs, and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions.
- Review wiring schematics / assembly blueprints to be able to assemble sub panel, electrical components, control cabinets to engineering specifications
- Layout, drill and tap, assemble and wire panels and sub panels according to engineering specifications.
- Working knowledge of Rigid and EMT Conduit
- Pulls wiring through conduit.
- Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together and applying tape or terminal caps.
- Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
- Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays and circuit-breaker panels.
- Connects power cables to equipment such as foam machine or motor and installs grounding leads.
- Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with testing instruments such as ohmmeter, amp meter and continuity light.
- Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation or replacement.
- Repairs faulty equipment or systems.

Required Education and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in industrial electrical panel wiring and debug. Ability to wire a panel from prints and schematics
- Experience with assembly of precision automated machinery including use of all major hand tools
- Skilled trade degree, certification, or 2 years equivalent experience in industrial control wiring a plus.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, ladder logic

Physical demands
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, stoop and bend frequently.
Work Environment
Position may require travel. Travel can be as much as 25% of work hours and include travel/work on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays
