Service Technician - Electrical-265735

UGLs locomotive maintenance facility based in Spotswood, VIC are currently seeking applications for an experienced Electrical Service Technician to join the team.

These roles will be offered on a permanent basis working on a rotating roster of Days & Afternoon Shifts, 10.83 hours per day.

About the Role - Electrical

The Electrical Service Technician is responsible for carrying out the wiring, testing, preventative maintenance and repairs, modifications and installation of signalling equipment, electronics, communications and power systems, as directed by the Project Manager or Site Supervisors.

About You

Qualified Electrical Trades Person (Automotive experience preferred)

  • Heavy manufacturing or maintenance experience, experience within the rail industry is highly desired but not essential.
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence (Manual)
  • Previous experience within a large workshop or heavy maintenance environment.
  • Strong safety awareness
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
