JOB SUMMARY
Job Profile Summary
The ONEOK Data Science team creates intelligent cloud-native solutions that drive value-added decision-making processes. As part of the team, you will implement these solutions, primarily using a combination of mathematical optimization, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Data analysis: Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, correlations and patterns.
- Model Development: Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems.
- Cloud Development: Develop and implement cloud-based infrastructure to host and run data science models. 
- Data Visualization: Create dashboards and visualizations to present data insights.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, product managers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and analytics.
- Document methodologies, processes, and project outcomes to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing. Ensure all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science or related field
Work Experience
- 3 - 5 years related work experience Experience in data science or related field required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Skills in: Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL). Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Skills in: Cloud: Proficient in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Databricks, Azure) with experience deploying and managing data solutions in cloud environments. 
- Skills in: Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of developing complex models and algorithms.
- Skills in: Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Skills in: Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of data professionals. Strong project management skills are essential.
