Would you like to make a difference in the lives of people as well as the community in which you work? State Hospital South (SHS) located in Blackfoot is seeking Clinicians to join our amazing Treatment Team. We provide psychiatric inpatient treatment and skilled nursing care for Idaho's adult citizens with the most serious and persistent mental illnesses. The hospital works in partnership with families and communities to enable clients to return to community living. SHS is a 110-bed Adult Psychiatric Treatment Hospital, and this position will be working on a 30-bed unit within that facility. This position is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with holidays off.
Clinicians are part of the hospital Treatment Team providing evidence-based patient-centered care for adult patients who are committed to the Department of Health and Welfare for care and treatment. You will be working as part of a treatment team that includes a prescriber, other clinicians, nursing, pharmacy, medical, recreational therapy, and others.
This position is not eligible for telework.
The Idaho Department of Health & Welfare is a drug-free workplace. Employment is dependent upon satisfactory results of the investigation.
