Responsibilities
Leadership and Administration
- Lead daily operations management programs across the value based care portfolio by working with and through high-performing teams.
- Set operational plan to deliver care management programs, as intended, to patients at-scale, across the entire service area.
- Meet regularly with direct reports to review cases and provide coaching if applicable and ensure timely resolution of stakeholder issues, complaints, and inquiries.
- Develop, implement, and update educational resources to support the needs of team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Conduct staff management activities, including performance evaluations, skill and career development activities, policy administration, coaching on performance management, behavior, including interviewing and hiring employees, and ensuring employee training needs are met.
Execution of KPIs
- Drive clinical and operational results, monitor and track team performance with a focus on delivering value based care and program-specific KPIs.
- Creatively solve problems to overcome obstacles and deliver best-in-class patient outcomes.
- Assist in defining reporting requirements and collaborating with necessary enterprise-wide business areas to manage reporting dashboards.
Collaboration and Communication
- Partner with leadership to determine performance targets and set strategic goals.
- Collaborates with SVP, VBC to communicate strategic plans for care management programs to all stakeholders.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and its key stakeholders to promote, improve, and communicate initiatives related to value based care.
Compliance
- Serve as a liaison with regulatory and accrediting agencies to ensure compliance with standards, as applicable.
- Participate with contracted managed care organizations as necessary to ensure compliance with health plan and regulatory standards, as applicable.
Qualifications
- 10 years relevant work experience, preferably 4+ years of provider experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting and/or value based care experience
- Bachelors degree in management, business, or related healthcare field required, masters degree preferred.
- Proven track record of delivering operational results through teams, in a matrixed environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and inspire others
- Knowledge of value-based care principles, healthcare operations, regulatory requirements
- Project management expertise and ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams
- Advanced Microsoft office suite skills
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $171K- $256K with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
