We at Engineering Industries eXcellence are seeking a skilled and certified Workday Consultant with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Workday implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core HCM and Talent modules, with broader experience across other HR processes. This is a client-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to all phases of Workday implementation projects:
o Analysis and design
o Configuration and customization
o Testing and bug resolution
o User training and support
o Cutover planning and deployment
o Post go-live support
- Configure Workday for various HR processes
- Build and manage custom and standard Workday reports
- Work independently as an Individual Contributor while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality deliverables and customer satisfaction
- Provide functional and technical guidance on best practices and solution architecture
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience working on Workday HCM projects
- At least 1 full-cycle Workday implementation as a functional consultant
- Workday certification in at least one module (HCM or related HR modules)
- Strong experience in:
o Core HCM
o Talent Management
- Good exposure to other modules like Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits, Compensation, Learning, Reporting, Integrations is preferred
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end configuration and testing
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent English communication skills – both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in Central European Time (CET) zone
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multiple Workday module certifications
- Prior experience in a client-facing role
- Consulting experience with global clients
