Job Summary:
As a Catering Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of dishes for large-scale events, ensuring high-quality food standards and consistent service. You will work closely with our catering team to support the smooth operation of events, from corporate gatherings to weddings, while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook large quantities of food for catering events, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Follow detailed recipes and menus, adjusting as needed for event specifications.
Coordinate with the catering team to ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to standards.
Manage food storage, including proper handling, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, following health and safety guidelines.
Assist in menu planning and ingredient sourcing based on event needs.
Ensure food is cooked and presented in an appealing and professional manner.
Set up and maintain food stations for events, including buffet and plated services.
Assist with plating and serving food during events, as needed.
Handle special dietary requests and food allergies, providing alternatives where necessary.
Maintain inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies for upcoming events.
Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
One to three months related experience and/or training;
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Write routine reports and correspondence.
Speak effectively before groups of customers or Associates of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication), weights and measures
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Food Handlers Certificate provided at store level
