Senior Finance Analyst Corporate HQ entities (HQ Neth Group)

Main responsibility is too versee US GAAP and statutory reporting, tax compliance, and regulatory submissions for multiple international HQ entities, including Dutch BVs, while supporting audits, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors, and leading process improvements and ad-hoc financial projects.

Responsibilities

A. Responsible for period close procedures for group reporting purposes (US GAAP):

  • Accurate and timely US GAAP reporting for multiple HQ legal entities (the Netherlands, Switzerland, Cyprus, other jurisdictions) in SAP and HFM
  • Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all transactions and foreign currency journal entries are processed accurately including I/C foreign exchange gains/losses
  • Maintain periodic/annual process of preparing and reconciling with other PepsiCo teams periodic and annual cross charges out, issuing respective invoices to PepsiCo group entities and sending them to counterparties

B. Other internal reporting:

  • Prepare the data collection tax packages (the internal reporting requested by Corp Tax team) prepared annually for each entity;
  • Preparation and submitting quarterly and annual reports to the Dutch National Bank (DNB) for Dutch HQ entities; and having contact with DNB representative, when needed;
  • Upon request, review output for other internal management reports and requests from corporate tax team (e.g. quarterly tax forecasts prepared by other team member)

C. Assist to finance manager with the annual statutory audits of the stand-alone local GAAP FS of Cyprus, South Africa, Switzerland, Singapore, Hungary, and Ireland entities.

D. Provide information support (such as GL strings, reporting amounts, loan schedules etc) on the ongoing/everyday basis to the Tax, Treasury and Legal Teams with respect to different queries through review of documents/schedules/accounting records and through other means as needed.

E. Responsible for preparation and filing of annual/interim statutory accounts of Dutch BVs (~27 entities).

F. Lead the process of Local Files preparation for Dutch corporate entities. That includes liaising with external tax advisers, initiate and manage the process of timely Local File preparation, provide input and supporting documentation, review of the Local Files as prepared by local advisors.

G. Ad-hoc tax/treasury/other projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • ACCA/CPA or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience of GL accountant/financial analyst/finance manager/auditor.
  • Experience in multinational companies, with statutory FS reporting and statutory audits is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience in financial statements preparation.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Flexible, creative, resourceful, self-motivated with desire for self-improvement, highly committed to provide timely deliverables of a high quality
  • Comfortable interacting with various (international) personnel and external advisors.
  • Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills (English; Dutch also beneficial)
  • Strong PC skills to include Word, Excel and Outlook

Additional Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Experience with SAP GL application and Hyperion/HFM reporting.
  • Experience with Dutch Statutory and Dutch National Bank reporting.
  • SOX experience
