THE JOB:
Are you ready to be part of the action behind the scenes at one of Springfield’s premier destinations? As a Heavy-Duty Kitchen Cleaner at MGM Springfield, you’ll play a key role in keeping our kitchens spotless, safe, and running smoothly.
THE STARTING RATE: $18.30 per hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Clean ceilings, walls, and items that may require lengthy periods of time on a ladder; deep clean hot holding or cooking equipment; gather pots and pans to wash; breakdown, spray, load, unload dishes, glassware and flatware and store.
- Maintain chemical detergents.
- Wash baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables and cutting boards; sweep and mop.
- Separate and remove trash and garbage.
- Maintain inventories of linen and remove soiled linen.
- Transport equipment to other outlets and facilitates throughout the property.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Prior kitchen stewarding/dishwasher experience is a bonus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Can work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
