What You Will Do:
The People & Culture Operations Specialist plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the company’s Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role partners closely with HR, IT, Finance, and business stakeholders to support system configuration, reporting, integrations, and process improvements that enhance the employee experience and ensure data integrity across all HR platforms.
In addition to core HR systems, this position serves as the primary reporting and analytics resource for HR—developing and maintaining dashboards, recurring reports, and ad-hoc data requests across multiple systems. The People & Culture Operations Specialist will also oversee configuration, maintenance, and end-user support for additional HR platforms such as the rewards & recognition program and ticketing system.
Responsibilities will include:
- Serve as a key resource to enterprise HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors)
- Configure, test, and maintain HR technology components, ensuring accurate data management and optimal system functionality
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders to design and implement system enhancements, process automation, and data integrations
- Develop, maintain, and enhance HR dashboards, recurring reports, and ad-hoc analyses to support data-driven decision-making
- Translate business requirements into data insights and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
- Manage data requests and provide analytics support to HR leadership, Finance, and other business partners
- Ensure data integrity by performing regular audits and validations across HR systems
- Administer and maintain additional HR platforms such as the Rewards & Recognition system and HR ticketing platform
- Support system upgrades, testing, and other technical projects related to HR technology
- Collaborate with HR leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and adoption of HR technology best practices
Who You Are:
- 3–5 years of HRIS experience, supporting one or more enterprise HR systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP, etc.)
- Experience with SAP HCM or SAP SuccessFactors is a strong plus
- Proven experience in HR data reporting and analytics, including building dashboards, reports, and KPIs (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar tools)
- Working knowledge of HR processes such as payroll, benefits, performance management, and talent acquisition
- Experience administering or supporting HR platforms (e.g., Rewards & Recognition tools, Zendesk, ServiceNow, or other ticketing/workflow systems)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
- Understanding of HR data structures, configurations, and workflows
- Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, and SFTPs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
- HRIS certifications or training (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle, ADP) preferred
- Experience in a global HR environment or with multi-country HR systems is a plus

The total budget for this role is between $75,000 and $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a hybrid position based in our Chicago office.
