Job Title: Customer Service / Warehouse Associate

Pay Rate: $20.45 – $25.51 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Customer Service/Warehouse Associate to join our team! This position is responsible for providing a variety of support functions, including servicing walk-in customers, completing sales transactions, and performing material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading materials, pulling and assembling customer orders, and conducting inventory checks. Daily operation of forklift and/or crane equipment may be required.

Primary Objective

To perform a combination of customer service, administrative, and warehouse duties that support the efficient operation of the Sales and Service Center.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales:

  • Assist walk-in customers with product inquiries, order requirements, and selections.
  • Process customer orders, complete sales transactions, and accept payments.
  • Provide samples, product information, and general support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve customer issues, returns, and order discrepancies.

Administrative Duties:

  • Process payments and receipts, reconcile daily sales reports, and balance petty cash.
  • Prepare bank deposits and various performance reports.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update vendor or product information.
  • Create and process purchase and stock replenishment orders.

Warehouse & Material Handling:

  • Pull and assemble customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Check outbound orders for completeness and accuracy.
  • Perform inventory checks, restock shelves, and label incoming products.
  • Receive and unload inbound materials; inspect shipments for damage and process returns.
  • Operate forklift and/or crane equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, including sweeping, trash removal, and general maintenance.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Report any unsafe conditions, accidents, or injuries immediately.
  • Ensure materials are handled and stored properly to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of combined customer service and warehouse experience.
  • Forklift operation experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, math, time management, and computer skills.
  • Detail-oriented and customer-focused with a safety-first mindset.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach regularly throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry 15–30 lbs regularly, and up to 70 lbs occasionally (team lift required for heavier or oversized items).
  • Visual abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment.
