About the Role

We are looking for experienced and dependable Commercial Wood Framing Carpenters to join our construction team. This position involves working on a variety of commercial projects, including office buildings, retail developments, and multi-family housing. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and construction plans
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood framing components accurately
  • Install structural elements such as walls, floors, and roofs
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Follow all safety protocols and building codes
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades on site

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial wood framing
  • Proficiency in reading construction documents and using framing tools
  • Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions
  • Dependable transportation to job sites
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with metal stud framing or panelized systems
  • Familiarity with tilt-up construction methods
  • Safety certifications such as fall protection or OSHA 10/30

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
