About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled Fencing Foreman with automatic gate experience to lead installation and repair projects in the field. This is a hands-on leadership position that combines project management, customer communication, and field labor.
Job Duties:
- Supervise and manage employees and job sites
- Oversee daily project operations and ensure work meets quality standards
- Communicate directly with customers to ensure satisfaction and address concerns
- Plan and project efficient weekly job schedules
- Perform hands-on labor and assist with installations as needed
- Install and repair multiple fencing types, including ornamental, chain link, and wood
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and job specifications
- Conduct site assessments, measure and mark layouts, and prepare areas for installation
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to safety guidelines
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of fencing or construction experience required
- Proven experience with automatic gate systems
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize deadlines
- Skilled in blueprint reading and general construction practices
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing field labor
- Proficient with basic hand tools, saws, and equipment
