About the Role

As an Identity Engineer at Cbus, you’ll play an important role in safeguarding our digital environment by supporting and maintaining secure and scalable Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. Reporting to the Principal Identity Engineer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure identity solutions are seamlessly integrated, secure by design, and aligned to enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain IAM systems across Identity Provider (IdP), Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
  • Assist with IAM incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Work with stakeholders to define IAM requirements and integrate solutions within business applications.
  • Maintain and improve IAM policies, procedures, documentation, and technical controls.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of IAM capabilities and uphold high standards of technical delivery.

About You

You have solid background in identity and access management and are looking for an opportunity to broaden your impact. This role will allow you to deepen your IAM expertise while contributing to enterprise-scale projects in a collaborative environment.

You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Cybersecurity, or relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Okta, SailPoint) desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with technologies such as: Active Directory / Entra ID, Okta, SailPoint IIQ / ISC, Active Directory, SSO, MFA, and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Advanced understanding of IAM protocols and standards: SAML, SCIM, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and/or FIDO2.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Analytical thinker and solutions-focused mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
