Licensed Teacher - Adolescent Outpatient Treatment Program

Location: Pottstown, PA

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (Daytime Hours)

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 annually, based on experience and certifications

At High Focus Centers, we provide evidence-based treatment for adolescents navigating challenges with mental health, substance use, eating disorders, and co-occurring conditions. We’re seeking a dedicated, compassionate Teacher to join our Partial Hospitalization (PHP) Program in Pottstown, PA. This role bridges education and treatment, helping students continue their academic progress while they focus on healing and recovery.

What You’ll Do

As the Program Teacher, you’ll provide academic instruction to students participating in outpatient treatment. You’ll collaborate closely with clinical and educational teams to ensure a supportive, structured, and therapeutic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic instruction aligned with each student’s home school curriculum.
  • Adapt lessons and implement IEP/504 accommodations to meet individual learning needs.
  • Maintain communication with school liaisons, parents, and treatment team members.
  • Foster engagement, confidence, and resilience for students experiencing academic disruption.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to holistic care planning.
  • Prepare progress updates and final transition reports upon student discharge.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and FERPA standards.

What You Bring

  • Valid PA Teaching Certification (Special Education Certification strongly preferred)
  • Prior experience working with adolescents or in a behavioral health/alternative education setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a therapeutic environment
