Administrative Assistant – Office & Employee Support

Location: Waipahu, HI

Schedule: Weekdays, Full-Time

Pay Range: $18–20/hour (depending on experience)

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day operations. This role combines general office administration, employee support, and customer service functions. Ideal candidates are organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in both office and kitchen/warehouse environments.

Administrative Assistant Key Responsibilities

General Administration

  • Manage phones, interoffice mail, supplies, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination
  • Prepare reports, memos, presentations, and correspondence
  • Record and distribute meeting minutes
  • Support expense reporting and petty cash management
  • Assist with scheduling for the Executive Director

Employee Support

  • Process new hire documents and coordinate with central HR and Payroll teams
  • Input schedules and ensure accurate timecard processing
  • Maintain employee rosters and tracking sheets

Sales & Customer Service

  • Process customer orders via email, phone, or in-person
  • Communicate with assigned client accounts

Administrative Assistant Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; 2–3 years of administrative experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong typing, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • TB Clearance required

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Primarily office-based with occasional work in kitchen/warehouse
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
  • Extended periods of sitting; use of office equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communication required

Administrative Assistant Benefits (Once Hired On)
