Description
In this role you will be:
- Assist physical therapists and physical therapist assistants with setting up equipment and preparing treatment areas.
- Safely transport patients to and from therapy sessions within the hospital.
- Clean and organize therapy equipment and treatment areas after use.
- Maintain inventory and stock supplies as needed.
- Support patients during exercises or ambulation under the direct supervision of licensed staff.
- Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures at all times.
- Provide general administrative or clerical support (e.g., restocking linens, filing, answering phones).
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- EDUCATION:- High school diploma required; Certified nursing assistant preferred
 
- EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in a healthcare setting or as a rehab aide preferred
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
