Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Mazak Vertical/Horizontal Machinist (Mazatrol Programming) for a project located in Sheboygan Falls, WI. This is a full time opportunity and the pay rate is up to $37/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Program, set up, and run a variety of Mazak machine tools using Mazatrol programming.
- Work from blueprints and job specifications to plan efficient manufacturing processes.
- Measure and verify part dimensions using precision measuring tools.
- Safely use overhead cranes to move large parts and materials.
- Maintain machine shop equipment and perform routine maintenance.
- Train and assist coworkers in the proper and safe operation of equipment.
- Collaborate in person with team members to pro-actively resolve issues.
- Occasionally perform deburring and assist in improving manufacturing procedures.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of machinist experience (job shop experience is mandatory).
- Strong working knowledge of Mazatrol or similar CNC machine programming software.
- Must be able to program and edit Mazatrol programs (non-programmers will not be considered).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and routings.
- Proficient in performing metric conversions and geometric calculations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
